While the inside label carries information, a logo patch is a visible mark of the brand, club or organisation. The surface is flat and fine, and details stay crisp even with small lettering and thin lines. A woven patch is light and flexible and does not weigh down thin fabrics, so it suits shirts, T-shirts, sweatshirts and caps. The image does not fade in the wash because it is part of the fabric itself.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003ePrinted patches\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eWith printed patches the design is printed onto a smooth polyester or satin base. This reproduces gradients, photographic elements and a large number of colours that are hard to achieve by weaving. Printed patches are a good solution for complex logos, illustrations, themed event badges and limited runs.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eEdge types\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cul\u003e\u003cli\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMerrow border\u003c\/strong\u003e: a dense edge overlocked with thread around the perimeter. A classic look, suitable for round, oval and rectangular shapes.\u003c\/li\u003e\u003cli\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eLaser cut\u003c\/strong\u003e: the edge is cut and sealed by laser exactly along the contour of the logo. The patch is sewn along the edge or the contour.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eHeat-seal (iron-on)\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe back is coated with a layer of heat-activated adhesive and the patch is applied with a press. Convenient for quick branding of finished items. For greater durability, heat-sealing can be combined with stitching.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eRemovable patches\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eFor uniforms, tactical clothing and backpacks, the patch can be combined with \u003ca href=\"\/en\/collections\/velkro\"\u003ehook and loop tape\u003c\/a\u003e so it can be changed easily.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eShapes, sizes and applications\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003ePatches have no standard shape: they can be round, shield-shaped, rectangular, shaped like a letter or cut to the outline of the logo. The size is matched to the placement: small badges for the collar, cap or pocket and larger patches for the back of a jacket.
