A metal ring looks like a small detail, yet it often decides whether a belt, a bag or a label looks cheap or expensive. Besides the size, the colour of the finish is decisive. Polkom manufactures round metal rings and D rings for wholesale orders, in sizes from 1 to 6 cm and in five core colours – gold, light gold, black meteorite, black oxide and silver.
Cast rings – no seam and no weld
Our rings are fully die-cast in a mould. They have no cut, seam or weld mark, so they do not open under load and their surface is smooth and even all the way round. The five colours and when to choose them
- Gold – a rich, warm shine. The classic for leather belts, women's handbags and luxury labels.
- Light gold – a softer, champagne tone. It suits beige, ecru and pastel colours – a modern alternative to classic gold.
- Black meteorite – a dark grey tone with a fine, matte texture. It looks technical and contemporary – an excellent choice for sports bags, backpacks and men's accessories.
- Black oxide – a deep black, matte finish. Almost invisible on black leather and textiles – for minimalist collections.
- Silver – a clean, cool shine. A versatile colour for denim, white, grey and blue.
Besides these five colours, we can make the rings in any other colour from our metal finish colour card. All our metal accessories are nickel free.
Round ring or D-ring
A round ring lets the tape or strap rotate freely – it suits shoulder straps, key rings and hanging loops. A D-ring has a straight side on which the strap lies flat – it is more stable for belts, bags and adjustable buckles. More about the D-ring in the article what is a D-ring.
Sizes from 1 to 6 cm
- 1–2 cm – hang tag loops, jewellery, small details on garments;
- 2–3 cm – narrow belts, shoulder straps, women's handbags;
- 4–5 cm – belts and bag handles;
- 6 cm – wide belts, backpacks and decorative elements.
