Metal chains – function and decoration
A metal chain with end pieces is a small detail that does several jobs at once. As a manufacturer with over 30 years of experience in metal accessories, Polkom makes garment chains in different lengths, link thicknesses and types of end pieces.
What they are used for
- Hanger loop – sewn on the inside of the collar of a coat, jacket or blazer, so the garment can be hung up without losing its shape.
- Connecting two edges – the chain joins the two edges of the garment, for example on a cardigan, cape or collar, as a decorative closure.
- Decoration – as an accent on pockets, lapels, bags and accessories.
