Who we are

Polkom is a Bulgarian manufacturer of garment accessories and a wholesale supplier of haberdashery based in Sofia. We have worked with the garment industry for more than three decades and in that time have built a range of more than 10,000 articles. We serve fashion brands, manufacturing companies, ateliers and distributors in Bulgaria and across Europe.

Our job is to provide the details without which a garment is not finished: the button, the zip, the label, the elastic, the eyelet. They are small, but they determine both the functionality and the perceived quality of the final product.

What we offer

Our range covers the needs of almost any garment production – from lingerie and shirts to jeans, coats, bags and footwear:

• buttons in polyester, metal, corozo, mother-of-pearl, wood, horn, bone and coconut;
• zips – metal, nylon coil, moulded plastic and invisible, as well as original YKK zips;
• labels – woven, printed, leather, hang tags and care and composition labels;
• metal trims – eyelets, snap buttons, rivets, trouser hooks and bars, buckles, rings and cord stoppers;
• haberdashery – elastics, ribbons, cords, lace and hook and loop;
• threads for sewing, embroidery, footwear and leather.

Stock and custom production

We work in two complementary directions. We keep a large stock of standard models so you can order quickly without unnecessary waiting. At the same time, we produce articles to the client's design and specification – with an engraved logo, in a specific colour, size or finish. This way one company can supply you with both the basic components for bulk clothing and the distinctive details of your brand.

Our approach to quality

We carefully select the materials and production partners we work with. Before dispatch, we check the articles against their key parameters – size, colour, surface and function. Focused on Europe

A large share of our customers are outside Bulgaria. We deliver to every European Union country and are used to working with different requirements for packaging, labelling and documentation. We communicate quickly by email, phone, WhatsApp and Viber, and we confirm technical details in writing so there are no discrepancies between the enquiry, the sample and the final delivery. If you are planning a new collection, contact us early – that gives us time to prepare samples and agree colours and logos.
