How to use the colour card
The Polkom colour card brings together 147 metal finish colours for buttons, snap buttons, eyelets, buckles, rivets and other metal accessories. Every colour has its own code – PK-P for lacquer and effect finishes, PK-G for gloss and mirror finishes, PK-M for classic, satin and antique finishes. When you order, simply quote the code.
Finishes from the G and M series are produced on brass (B) and on zinc alloy (A). The same colour looks slightly different on the two materials – that is why the card shows both versions. All Polkom metal finishes are nickel free.
Colours on screen are indicative. For an exact match with your fabric or other trims, ask for a physical sample – contact us.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How many metal finish colours does Polkom offer?
The colour card has 147 codes: 42 lacquer and effect finishes (PK-P), 21 gloss and mirror finishes (PK-G) and 84 classic, satin and antique finishes (PK-M). The G and M series are available on brass and zinc alloy.
Do the metal finishes contain nickel?
No. All Polkom metal finishes are nickel free – including the colours with a nickel or black nickel look.
How do I order a specific colour?
Quote the code from the card (for example PK-M73), the material (B – brass or A – zinc alloy), the model and the quantity. We send a sample before bulk production.
Why does the colour on screen differ from the sample?
Metal finishes reflect light differently depending on the lighting, and screens display colours differently. That is why we recommend a physical sample for the final choice.
