Organza ribbon is a finely woven, sheer ribbon with a light sheen and a crisp handle. Pantone colours

Organza is available in white, ecru, pastel and rich colours, as well as gold and silver. For a special colour we dye to Pantone or to your sample and prepare a sample before the run. Its sheerness makes the colour look lighter than a solid ribbon in the same shade – bear this in mind when you combine organza with satin ribbon in one bow.

Organza for packaging and branding

Tips for working with organza

• cut the ribbon at an angle or seal the end with a hot knife so it does not fray;
• for full bows, choose organza with a dense or metallic edge;
• store the reels in a dry place and without pressure so the edges do not bend.

Organza in clothing

Besides packaging, organza also has a place in fashion: as a decorative trim on dresses and blouses, as a bow on children's and bridesmaid dresses, as a belt tie or as a light embellishment on bridal accessories. In these cases, choose soft organza with a satin edge, which does not irritate the skin and keeps its shape after washing at a low temperature.

How we check quality

With organza, defects are visible immediately because the ribbon is sheer. That is why in every batch we check for an even weave density without missing yarns, straight and stable edges, a uniform colour along the whole reel and clean winding without creases. If the ribbon will be used on an automatic packing line, tell us when you enquire – we will then select organza with a more stable edge and a suitable reel.
