Jeans buttons – the signature of every denim
The jeans button is the first metal detail the customer sees and touches. It fastens the waistband of the jeans, takes constant tension and goes through dozens of washes, and the brand name sits on its cap. At Polkom, a manufacturer of metal accessories, we offer jeans buttons wholesale – brass and stainless steel, fixed and swivel, with solid or open caps, in sizes from 14 to 20 mm and with your logo. They are suitable for jeans, denim jackets, skirts, shirts and workwear.
How a jeans button is built
The button consists of a cap with a shank and a pin that is inserted from the inside of the fabric and set into the shank with a press. On fixed models, the cap and the shank are one piece (2 parts in total). On swivel models, the cap is separate from the base and can rotate freely (3 parts), which reduces stress on the fabric when buttoning.

Classic button with logo (DK-01)
A fixed brass button with embossed lettering around the rim – the standard for jeans and jackets. The logo, lettering and finish are made to your design.
Button with solid cap (DK-02)
A cap with a solid, smooth coin-type profile that gives designer denim a solid, premium look. The large surface is suitable for an embossed or engraved logo.
Open-cap buttons (DK-03, DK-05)
The centre of the cap has an opening through which the head of the pin is visible. The button is lighter but keeps the classic look. DK-05 combines the open cap with a swivel mechanism.
Swivel buttons (DK-04, DK-05)
The cap rotates freely relative to the base. This makes buttoning easier and puts less stress on the fabric around the button – suitable for heavy denim.
Stainless steel button (DK-06)
For workwear and outdoor clothing and for products that often get wet. Stainless steel has high corrosion resistance.
Finishes and logo
Jeans buttons are available in finishes from our colour card – nickel, antique brass, black nickel, gold, gunmetal, copper and aged effects. The logo can be embossed or debossed, around the rim or in the centre of the cap. Ideally, the button should be in the same finish as the model's rivets and snap buttons. See also all metal buttons.
Fitting
Jeans buttons are set with a hand press, a lever press or motorised and automatic machines, with a die for the relevant model. The pin is chosen according to the thickness of the fabric. Before the production run we recommend testing a sample on the actual denim and after the wash you will use.
