Fabric wristbands are narrow woven or printed bands that close around the wrist with a plastic or metal fastener. At festivals, concerts and sports events they serve as a convenient pass, and afterwards visitors often keep them as a memento. Types of fabric wristbands

Woven wristbands

The logo and lettering are woven into the band itself on the jacquard principle – the same one used to make woven labels and jacquard ribbons. The design does not rub off or fade, and the band has a dense, high-quality look. Woven wristbands suit multi-day festivals, VIP passes and souvenir runs.

Printed satin wristbands

Here the design is printed onto a smooth polyester band with a satin sheen. Printing allows gradients, photographic elements and many colours, and the surface is soft and pleasant on the skin. Satin wristbands are a good choice for complex designs and events with many partner logos.

Closure types

• Single-use plastic fastener: once tightened, the wristband cannot be removed without cutting. Suitable for access control.
• Metal crimp fastener: closed with pliers for a particularly secure connection.
• Adjustable or reusable closure: for souvenir wristbands that are worn after the event.

Design and customisation

The wristband can carry a logo, event name, date, slogan or a repeating pattern along its whole length. The colours of the band and threads are matched to Pantone or a sample, and the fastener can be in a matching colour. For events with several access zones it is convenient to use wristbands in different colours – for visitors, participants, staff and VIP guests – so checks at the entrance are quick and clear.

Practical tips

• For multi-day events, choose a woven wristband with a single-use closure – it withstands water, sweat and round-the-clock wear.
• For a souvenir, choose satin printing with an adjustable closure – the design is more detailed and the wristband is comfortable to wear after the event.
• Send your design in good time so there is time for a sample and approval before the event date.
