Bag buckles – strength and convenience every day
A bag is opened, closed, carried and adjusted hundreds of times. Bag buckles take this load: the adjuster sets the length of the shoulder strap, the ring connects it to the body of the bag and the frame guides the strap. At Polkom, a manufacturer of metal accessories, we have brought together in one section the metal buckles for bags and backpacks that we offer wholesale – bar and roller adjusters, rectangular and square frames, D-shaped and round rings. Which buckle for which part of the bag
Adjusting the shoulder strap
The KT-01 and KT-03 adjusters and the KT-02 roller adjuster let you change the length without stitching. For shoulder straps that are adjusted frequently, the roller model is gentler on the webbing.
Connecting to the body
The KT-07 and KT-08 D-rings and the KT-09 round ring are sewn to the body of the bag and take the snap hook or the end of the shoulder strap. The flat zinc alloy D-ring is suitable when the connecting element is visible and needs to look more solid. You will find more shapes in ring buckles and rings.
Guiding and securing the strap
The KT-04 rectangular frame and the KT-05 square frame serve as a keeper for the loose end of the webbing or as a simple buckle for decorative straps.
Material and load
- Brass wire does not rust and takes finishes well – for fashion and leather bags.
- Iron models with a protective coating are an economical solution for series-produced bags and backpacks.
- Zinc alloy gives visible rings a flat, more solid profile.
- For bags that carry weight, choose a wider and thicker buckle and test a sample under load.
Finishes and coordination with other accessories
Bag buckles are available in nickel, antique brass, black nickel, gold, gunmetal and other finishes from our colour card. Select them together with the model's eyelets, rivets and metal logo plates to give the bag a finished look. Wire buckles are not made with a logo; for branding, use a metal plate or a rivet with your logo.
