Polyester buckles are made of polyester resin – the same material used for many fashion buttons. That is why the buckle can reproduce exactly the colour, effect and surface of the polyester buttons on the coat or dress. The result is a harmonious, finished look that a metal buckle cannot give. Sizes and shapes

Polyester buckles are chosen by the width of the belt. The most common widths are 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 cm, and intermediate sizes are made on request. The inner opening should be equal to or slightly wider than the belt, and for a double wool coat belt it should also be taller.

Colour matching and logo

Quality and care

Polyester buckles do not rust, do not stain the fabric and withstand washing and dry cleaning when the right process is chosen. For coat belts worn every day, we recommend a thicker profile and rounded edges that do not chafe the fabric. All Polkom products are OEKO-TEX® certified.

How to choose a polyester buckle

• Start from the width of the belt and its thickness – for a double wool belt the opening must be taller.
• Choose the shape according to the style: rectangular is the classic for coats, while oval and round soften the line of a dress.
• Decide whether you need a prong – it fixes the belt, while a buckle without a prong is used for tying and looping through.
• Select the surface together with the buttons – gloss, matt and effects should match.
• Ask for a sample and compare it with the fabric in daylight.

Polyester buckles are very light, so they do not pull the belt down and are comfortable for everyday wear. They are also warm to the touch – a pleasant advantage on winter coats.
