Jacquard ribbons – the brand woven into the detail

Jacquard ribbons are narrow woven tapes in which the logo, lettering or pattern is formed by the interlacing of the coloured yarns themselves. The design is not applied to the surface but is part of the fabric – so a jacquard ribbon does not fade, does not peel and keeps its look through wear, abrasion and washing. Patterns and design

• stripes – thin or wide bands in the brand colours, a classic in sportswear;

Care and durability

Polyester jacquard ribbons withstand washing at moderate temperatures without losing colour or shape, and the logo stays clear even after long use. Cotton versions are softer but may shrink slightly on the first wash – for products with exact dimensions we recommend a test with a sample.

Colours and personalisation

Yarn colours are selected to Pantone or to a sample so that the ribbon matches your corporate standard. For products that need stretch and a logo at the same time – for example underwear waistbands and sportswear – see woven elastic and its jacquard version. How production works

1. Enquiry – you send the logo, width, colours, application and quantity.
2. Technical design – we adapt the design to the ribbon width and the number of yarns so the logo stays legible.
3. Sample – we weave a sample and send it for approval of colours, size and density.
4. Production – after approval the ribbon is woven, wound on reels and delivered across the EU.

Small text and very thin lines are hard to weave in narrow ribbons – so in the design stage we sometimes suggest a slight simplification of the logo so it looks clear and attractive in the weave.

Send us the logo in vector format, the width you need, the colours and the approximate quantity. We prepare a weaving design and a sample, and series production starts after your approval.
