Sofa legs that carry and enhance

Sofa legs and armchair legs do two jobs at once – they carry the weight of the furniture and the people sitting on it, and they define its silhouette. A tall slim leg makes a sofa look light and airy, while a low solid leg makes it look stable and substantial. Height and shapes

The typical height of upholstered furniture legs is between 10 and 25 cm. Lower legs are used on large corner sofas and sofas with a low seat, and taller ones on armchairs, settees and Scandinavian-style models where the space under the furniture is visible. The most common shapes are:

• tapered – narrowing towards the bottom, a mid-century classic;
• cylindrical – straight legs with a round cross-section;
• square and rectangular – for sofas with clean lines;
• angled (splayed) – giving armchairs and stools a dynamic look;
• glides and low feet – almost invisible sofa feet that make the sofa "sit" on the floor;
• U-shaped and sled legs – a metal profile that joins two legs.

Swivel bases for armchairs

For swivel armchairs we offer metal bases – round discs or star bases – with a swivel mechanism. They are used for lounge chairs, living room armchairs, hotel lobbies and waiting areas. The base can match the colour of the other metal details in the interior.

Materials

• metal and steel – strong and suitable for powder coating in any colour;
• aluminium – light, durable and modern-looking;
• plastic – an economical option for low legs and feet;
• wood – a warm look, often combined with a metal ferrule.

A felt or plastic pad can be fitted under each leg to protect the floor and prevent slipping.

Colours and finishes

We offer metal sofa legs in chrome, satin (matt) chrome, gold, matt gold, black, anthracite, bronze, antique brass, antique copper, inox (stainless steel look) and rose gold, as well as powder coated in any colour. Custom legs with logo

For upholstered furniture brands we make legs in a specific height, cross-section, angle and colour, as well as with an engraved logo on the leg or ferrule. This makes the legs a recognisable element of the collection. To complete the upholstered piece, you can also add decorative furniture accessories – upholstery nails, studs and logo plates.

Fitting

Sofa legs are most often fitted with a threaded bolt into a T-nut in the frame or with a mounting plate and screws. In your inquiry, state the fitting method and the type of frame so we can propose the right solution.
