Wall Hooks and Coat Racks

Wall hooks – order and style

Wall hooks are among the most used furniture accessories – in the hallway, bathroom, hotel room, office and changing room. They have to hold a heavy coat or bag, not loosen over time and look good even when empty. Polkom is a manufacturer of wall hooks, coat hooks and coat racks for furniture factories, fit-out companies, hotels, restaurants, shops and retailers. We offer standard models and custom hooks, in any colour and with a logo.

Types of hooks and coat racks

• single hooks – with one or two prongs, for doors, walls and furniture;
• multi-hook rails – a plate with several hooks for hallways and changing rooms;
• wall-mounted coat racks – a metal structure with hooks and a shelf for hats or shoes;
• bathroom hooks – stainless steel hooks for towels and bathrobes;
• furniture hooks – fitted inside wardrobes, cabinets and hallway units;
• decorative hooks – with an ornament, a geometric shape or your logo.

Where they are used

At home, wall hooks keep the hallway, bathroom and children's room tidy. In hotels and restaurants they are part of the furnishing of rooms, cloakrooms and dining rooms, and in offices and shops – at reception, in fitting rooms and changing rooms. A metal hook with the right finish withstands many years of intensive use.

Materials

We make hooks from zinc alloy, steel and stainless steel, and some models from aluminium. Zinc alloy allows decorative and solid hooks with detail to be cast. Stainless steel is suitable for bathrooms, swimming pools and damp rooms. Steel is used for long coat racks and powder-coated hooks.

Colours and finishes

We offer chrome, satin (matt) chrome, gold, matt gold, black, anthracite, bronze, antique brass, antique copper, inox (stainless steel look) and rose gold, two-tone versions and powder coating in any colour. All metal hooks are nickel free. See the range on the metal finish colours page.

Custom hooks with logo

For hotels, restaurants and brands we make hooks in a specific shape, number of hooks, length and colour, including with an engraved logo or monogram. This way the hook fits into the interior and the identity of the venue. If you are furnishing the whole space, you can also order furniture handles for wardrobes and cabinets in the same finish, as well as connecting fittings – shelf supports and pipe flanges for wardrobe systems.

Fitting

Wall hooks are fitted with screws and wall plugs suitable for the type of wall – brick, concrete or plasterboard. For wall-mounted coat racks, the distance between the holes and the number of fixing points are important. In your inquiry, state the type of wall and the expected load.
