Furniture knobs – a small detail that matters

Furniture knobs (cabinet knobs) are fitted with a single screw and are the simplest way to open a small door or drawer. They take up little space, do not stick out and suit both modern and classic interiors. Where furniture knobs are used

Shapes and sizes

Furniture knobs are made in various shapes to match the style of the furniture:

• round – the classic option, with a flat, domed or concave head;
• square and rectangular – for furniture with clean geometric lines;
• cylindrical and tubular – modern knobs on a slim stem;
• decorative – with relief, facets, a ceramic, wood or leather insert;
• custom knobs – to your drawing or sample.

The diameter and height of the knob are chosen according to the size of the front and the comfort of the grip. Larger doors usually need a larger knob or a furniture handle with a suitable hole centre distance.

Matching knobs and handles from one series

Many of our models are available as a series – a knob and handles in several sizes with the same profile and finish. This way you fit knobs on the small doors and handles on the wide drawers, and the whole piece of furniture looks consistent. For classic chests of drawers the series can also be completed with drop handles.

Materials and finishes

We make the knobs mainly from zinc alloy, which allows detailed shapes and a solid weight, as well as from stainless steel and aluminium for minimalist models. Finishes include chrome, satin (matt) chrome, gold, matt gold, black, anthracite, bronze, antique brass, antique copper, inox (stainless steel look) and rose gold, two-tone versions and powder coating in any colour. Knobs with logo

The head of the knob is a convenient place for a logo, monogram or brand symbol. We make knobs with an engraved, embossed or debossed logo – for furniture brands, hotels, restaurants and design projects. A logo knob is a discreet way to sign the furniture without disturbing its design.

Fitting

A standard knob is fixed with a single screw from the inside of the door or drawer. The screw length depends on the thickness of the front, so please state the material thickness in your inquiry – we will propose the right screw.
