Bed legs – strength comes first

Bed legs carry the full weight of the frame, the mattress and the people, so strength, secure fixing and quiet use without creaking matter most. At the same time, the legs determine the height of the bed and the style of the bedroom. Polkom is a manufacturer of bed legs and upholstered bed base legs for bed and mattress makers, upholstery workshops, hotels and retailers. Types of bed legs

• cylindrical and tapered legs – classic, in metal or wood;
• square legs – for beds with clean geometric lines;
• low feet and glides – for beds that appear to "sit" on the floor;
• centre support legs – for the centre rail of double beds and large bases;
• adjustable legs – with a levelling screw for uneven floors.

The height is chosen according to the height of the base and the mattress and the desired look of the bed. On double beds and wide bases, a centre support is important in addition to the corner legs, as it prevents the frame from bending.

Materials

We make bed legs from metal and steel, aluminium, plastic and wood. Metal and aluminium legs are strong and available in all finishes. Plastic feet are a practical option for box spring bases and centre legs that are not visible. Wooden legs add warmth and are often combined with a metal ferrule.

Colours and finishes

We offer chrome, satin (matt) chrome, gold, matt gold, black, anthracite, bronze, antique brass, antique copper, inox (stainless steel look) and rose gold, as well as powder coating in any colour. All metal legs are nickel free. The range is on the metal finish colours page.

One collection – one style

If you also make upholstered furniture, you can order sofa and armchair legs in the same shape and finish as the bed legs. This way the bed, sofa and armchair in your collection look like a set. For upholstered headboards we also offer decorative accessories – upholstery nails, studs and logo plates.

Custom legs with logo

We make bed legs in a specific height, cross-section, material and colour, including with an engraved logo or a brand plate. Before series production we prepare a sample so you can check the strength, height and colour.
