MB-04 – "Walnut": 2 sizes (22 mm – 34 mm), four metal colours and a shank that keeps the stitching hidden on the face side. MB-04 spans sizes from 22 mm (for the front of a jacket or cardigan) to 34 mm (for coats, outerwear and bags) – choose each size according to its place on the garment.

Design and details

"Walnut" resembles a walnut shell with a natural, uneven relief that looks different from every angle of the light. All colours are coatings on the same metal design, so shape and relief are identical.

Colour and pairing

The "Walnut" model is available in four metal colours:

• Nickel – a light silvery metal that looks good on grey, black, navy and white.
• The gold tone looks best on navy, black, burgundy and camel.
• Gun metal – a dark graphite metal, more restrained than nickel; a good choice for grey, black and olive garments and for denim.
• Shiny black – a glossy black coating for black and dark garments and eveningwear.

Shiny black looks elegant on black, navy and white fabrics and gives an evening feel. Gold is a classic for navy blazers, uniforms and black women's jackets; it pairs with gold jewellery. Tip: if the garment has other metal elements – a zip, buckles or snaps – choose a button in the same metal colour.

Sewing on and buttonholes

The shank underneath holds the button above the fabric and hides the stitching on the face side. Before cutting the buttonholes, make a test – as a guide: 22 mm – approx. 25–27 mm; 34 mm – approx. 37–39 mm.

Yes, the design is available in 2 sizes – from 22 mm to 34 mm. Select each size separately in the menu and add the quantity you need.

Does the coating of MB-04 withstand washing?
The garment can be washed with the buttons on, but when ironing go around them or iron through a cloth, as the metal heats up. Do not clean the coating with abrasive products.

How do I choose the colour of MB-04 to suit the fabric?
Take your cue from the other metal accessories on the garment: with a silver-tone zip – nickel, with gold-tone details – gold; gun metal and shiny black are the more discreet options.
