Brass Eyelets Manufacturer for Yacht Canopies and Marine Accessories – Luxury Platings, High Corrosion Resistance

Makers of yacht canopies, biminis, sunshades, boat covers and marine upholstery need eyelets that withstand salt water, sun and constant tension – and at the same time look flawless next to the chrome and polished steel on deck. As a brass eyelets manufacturer, Polkom produces brass eyelets with luxury platings made precisely for this job – an eyelets supplier and manufacturer in one.

Why brass for the marine environment

  • It does not rust – brass does not corrode in a damp, salty environment, unlike ordinary steel.
  • High corrosion resistance of the plating – the multi-layer electroplated finish keeps its colour and shine for years.
  • Strong flange and washer – the eyelet takes the force of the wind and the pull of the rope without tearing the canvas.
  • Nickel free – all our metal accessories are nickel free; "nickel" is only the name of the colour.

For a comparison of brass and galvanised steel and for setting eyelets in acrylic and PVC canvas, see the article eyelets for yachts and marine covers.
